sSorry folks, left out a couple of sources. Serves me right for working onLabor Day
Maybe you are wondering where do I come up with some of this, what are my sources of information?
I check out the usual network and cable news, listen to NPR and read my local papers, the Tennessean, Banner, Post, Tennessee Lookout and Business Journal, checking other local sources often.
Wikipedia is often consulted but never as a sole source, the sources they list are often spot on.
I throw some out at AI to see what they give me.
I go to the Associated Press site, ditto Reuters. I check the Drudge Report as it’s an interesting portal to various sources, some more credible than others, scroll to the bottom for great links.
I monitor the NY Times, Washington Post, WS Journal and keep up with events in Houston with the Chronicle and Press and other sites there.
And of course, there are online network and cable spots galore.
I subscribe to several blogs from writers both credible and experienced as follows:
Robert Reich
Reich offers a daily, sometimes daily beacon of hope it these dark times. A former Security of the Treasury and author of 20 books, he knows whereof he speaks.

Jessica Wildfire writes passionately and dramatically about what to do to combat what she, and many other preppers feel, will be a collapse of our civilization.

There are three Texas Outlaw Writers, all witty, savvy and accurate. All three have decades of high-level media and governmental experience. Their subjects range far beyond Texas and are insightful and professionally delivered.

All make sense in a world where the events around us seem to make none and all are well-researched truths.
Will Lockett’s Planet Earth and beyond writes with inside information about Tesla and Starship and presents arguments why both may not ever make it, Tesla’s self-driving car in particular.
Alaistair Williams The Quantum Cat gives me updated and correct information about matters beyond Earth, often way beyond. Great place to find news of astronomical subjects
I don’t subscribe but also recommend Heather Cox Richardson’s work.

David Katznelson’s The Signal is a highly, entertaining, expertly research blog about popular culture, especially, music and movies, horror films a specialty. David is a music biz lifer who has worked for major labels and indies and speaks with eloquence an authority.
Another music lifer, Bob Lefsetz publishes The Lefsetz Letter. It’s mainly music often with comments from well known stars. He also writes passionately about social issues.
