There is a possibility I may not make a 2nd album so I’m going to ride this pony as far as it will take me.
I’ve engaged True North Publicity for my overall PR campaign to increase the visibility of AMERICAN FOLK SONGS. I’ve also engaged FYC to help me in my quest for a Grammy finalist nomination.
I truly believe the CD is Grammy-worthy due to the exceptional production, extraordinary picking and exciting new versions of many songs of our shared musical heritage.

My two special guests, the inimitable Rattlesnake Annie and the indefatigableJames Tristan Redding joined our core group of Richard Bennett, Shawn Camp, Vince Farsetta, Ben “Jonesy” Jones and Jim Hoke for the CD and producer Matthew “Buster” Allen wove it all together into my 20 cut debut album.
I have also since learned, that at 80 I am the oldest American musician to release a debut album. England’s Colin Thackery is the world leader as he made his recording entry at 89.
The Grammy process is no simple matter, but I do hope to become the 3rd family member to win a Grammy, after uncle Alan and his daughter, Dr. Anna Lomax Wood.
I doubt I have a chance to win so my goal is to make the finals and add that achievement to the family’s enduring legacy.
So, spread the word to your music biz friends, I’ll be in the Folk and Americana fields and the competition will be stiff
